Who is responsible for your information

JE WineClub operates this website and is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to privacy@jewineclub.co.il.

Information we collect

• Information you choose to provide: such as your name, email address, telephone number, delivery details, order details, preferences, customer-service messages, or account details when the corresponding feature is available and you use it.
• Technical and usage information: such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring pages, pages viewed, dates and times of access, and diagnostic or security logs generated when the site is requested.
• Local accessibility preferences: the display settings selected through our accessibility tool. These settings are saved in your own browser's local storage and are not designed to identify you.
• Transaction information: order totals, products selected, fulfillment status, and payment confirmation. If online payment is enabled, complete payment-card details are entered directly with the payment provider and are not intended to be stored by JE WineClub.

Providing information is voluntary unless it is needed to supply a requested service. If required order or delivery information is not provided, we may be unable to process or fulfill the order. Any form that collects personal information should provide a collection notice where required by applicable law.

How we use information

We use information to operate and secure the website; provide requested products, deliveries, customer service, and account functions; communicate about orders and service changes; remember selected display preferences; prevent fraud and misuse; comply with legal and regulatory obligations; establish or defend legal claims; and improve the website using aggregated or appropriately limited data.

We will use personal information only for the purposes described when it is collected, purposes permitted by law, or other purposes for which we obtain any required consent.

Marketing

We will send promotional email or electronic marketing only in accordance with applicable law and the choices presented when details are collected. You can withdraw from marketing using the unsubscribe method in the message or by contacting us. Service and order messages may still be sent when necessary.

When information is shared

We may share the minimum information needed with service providers that support website hosting, security, analytics, communications, payment processing, order fulfillment, and delivery. We may also disclose information when required by law, a court, or a competent authority; to protect people, rights, property, or the service; or in connection with a reorganization, financing, sale, or transfer of the business. We do not sell personal information for money.

Credit-card information / פרטי אשראי

“We undertake not to transfer the customer’s credit-card details to a third party.” When online payment is enabled, card information is intended to be entered directly on the secure payment page of the payment provider. JE WineClub does not retain complete card numbers, CVV codes, or other full payment-card credentials.

Hosting and transfers outside Israel

The site is hosted using Vercel infrastructure, and service providers may process information on servers outside Israel. Where personal information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps intended to use providers and arrangements that support the protections required by applicable Israeli law.

Cookies and browser storage

The current site uses browser local storage to remember accessibility settings. Hosting and security infrastructure may use technically necessary identifiers or logs to deliver and protect the website. If optional analytics, advertising, personalization, or additional cookies are introduced, this policy and any consent controls will be updated before those tools are used where consent is required.

Retention and security

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described, including order fulfillment, customer support, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. Different records may have different retention periods. We apply administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information and review access by service providers. No online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your privacy rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have rights to request access to personal information held about you and to request correction or deletion where the information is incorrect, incomplete, unclear, outdated, or not lawfully retained. You may also withdraw a consent for future processing where processing depends on that consent, without affecting prior lawful use.

To make a request, email privacy@jewineclub.co.il. We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify identity and locate the relevant records before responding.

Children and alcohol

The website and alcohol-related services are intended only for people who may lawfully purchase alcohol. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children for alcohol purchases. Age or identity verification may be required before an order is accepted or delivered.

Third-party sites

Links to third-party websites or services are governed by those parties' own privacy practices. JE WineClub is not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy when the website, vendors, or legal requirements change. Material changes will be indicated by a revised date and, when appropriate, an additional notice. Questions, complaints, or rights requests may be sent to:
